3 More Days, 3 More Days, 3 More Days! It feels so surreal that we are finally leaving to bring our girl home. We are all in really peaceful places; it's so nice. We are ready for sure!

What an amazing experience for the Howards! David and I are so excited to hear about your journey as it unfolds - and, of course, to hear about the best part - meeting Elizabeth for the first time! As you said, Carrie, this is a time of healing for the Howards. My heart is bursting with happiness for all of you and I can't wait to meet my beautiful little niece.
I'm so excited about meeting my new niece for the first time. All of Lindsay's out west are excited. It sounds like today July 20th must have been an exciting, emotional and overall neat day for the 4 of you to finally see Elizabeth in person. I can't wait to hear how it went.

There is an ancient Chinese belief which states that when a child is born an invisible red thread connects that child's soul to all those people - present and in the future - who will play a part in that child's life. As each birthday passes, those threads shorten and tighten, bringing closer those people who are fated to be together. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break.
